Sequencer and Waveform Memory

The sequencer controls the output sequence of the wave-

form data stored in the waveform memory. The output

sequence of the waveform data is specified in the

sequence program that is contained in the sequence

memory. The following information can be specified in the

sequence program.

• Waveform memory area to output waveform signal.

• Sequence instruction. The following operations can be

specified.

– No operation (NOP instruction)

After the waveform data specified in the current

sequence program line is processed, the sequencer

proceeds to the next line.

– Halt after waveform (HALT instruction)

After the waveform data in the current sequence

program line is processed, the sequencer stops and

waits for the next trigger.

– Repeat waveform (RPT/RPTI instructions)

The waveform data on the current sequence

program line is repeated the specified number of

times (RPT) or infinitely (RPTI).

– Loop waveform (LOOP/LOOPI instructions)

The waveform data on the multiple sequence

program lines is repeated the specified number of

times (LOOP) or infinitely (LOOPI). The start point

of the loop is the sequence address specified by a

parameter of the instruction.

Further, the waveform data on the current sequence

program line can be also repeated the specified

number of times in the loop.
